Results of Recent Competitions

- The Odd Competition. Competition for ADRIFT games. Ten games entered. Winner: A Witch Tale (Dan Blazquez). Organizer: Abbi Park.
- IF Comp 2008. 35 new games! The winner was Violet (Jeremy Freese; Z-code). See the official results, announced on November 16th. The organizer was once again Stephen Granade. Congrats to all the winners!
- Saugus.net Halloween Ghost Story Contest ran again this year, but as usual, no one wrote an IF entry. Of course, they did get new ghost stories, and you can read those on their site.
- Xcomp 2008. The Spanish Xcomp focuses on experimental IF works in the Spanish language; exploring new possibilities, either in technical or in the literature aspects. There were 8 entries. Winners: Retorno al Castillo (Best Experimental Work, Most Popular, Most innovative) and Pronto (Best Experimental Work, Most Weird or Artistic). Organizer: Jenesis.
- IntroComp 2008. Six games. Winners were announced on ifMUD, September 7th, 2008, at 2pm Eastern (7pm UTC). Organizer: Jacqueline A. Lott. Winner: Phoenix's Landing: Destiny (Carolyn VanEseltine; Glulx).

- French Minicomp 2008. Competition for games in French. Submission deadline: was September 21, 2008; now extended to November 23, 2008, 11:57 PM (French time, GMT+1). Organizer: Eric Forgeot.
